iPhone App: American 1.01.10 crashing at launch. How to restore working version.

American came out with a new version 1.01.10,

which crashed upon launch on my iPod Touch 2nd generation with iOS 3.1.3. Luckily, I had another iPod Touch that still had 1.00.9.

Restoration to a working version was accomplished by removing 1.01.10 from iTunes and from the 1st iPod Touch.

I then syncing the 2nd iPod with 1.00.9 still on it and transferring from the iPod to iTunes after iTunes recognized the app not being in my iTunes library.

I then synced the 1st iPod to restore the older working version 1.00.9.

I’m guessing it would be restored through the .ipa in the Trash, but this was cleaner for me, since it only used iTunes and the 2nd iPod Touch.
